Jens Kristensen, a high ranking U.N. officier was working at his desk during the 2010 Haitian earthquake, the deadliest of the last two centuries. He was found after five days and five nights via the sound of a stapler. After the third day he became enable to recognize if he was asleep or awake. In the first week after the main quake more than 35 aftershocks had been registered. After just two days in the hospital Jens Kristensen decided to go back and help other survivors. The film has been inspired by Francis Bacon’s portraits.
